Please download the GEMINI ASIO drivers and TRAKTOR mapping files from the CDJ-700 product page from our website.
Plug in power cable and connect USB cable to one of you computer’s available USB inputs.
Your CDJ will be in CD mode by default.
Press the MIDI button on your CDJ to connect the unit to your computer.
If this is the first time connecting your unit to a PC, it will begin to install drivers. Please wait until all drivers are installed. NOTE (Do not remove USB cable or power off unit during this process)
Launch Traktor.
Launch the Traktor setup wizard located on the bottom left of the preferences dialog box and mirror the screenshot steps below…
“Are you using an external mixer?” YES…
“Select your setup” You may use 2 or 4 track decks…
Your final setup should look as follows…
Open Preferences once again and go to AUDIO SETUP and mirror the following screenshot…

This example shows one CDJ-700 connected using GEMINI ASIO outs 1 & 2…. If another deck was added you would assign deck b to outs 3 & 4 and so on…
CONTROLLER MANAGER
You must import the TRAKTOR mapping file using the CONTROLLER MANAGER Dialog box… Import other and locate the file on your computer. Make sure the IN and OUT PORTS are assigned to the correct CDJ-700. In this example there is only one deck. The device target or focus is set to deck A. In the case of multiple decks you would add another MIDI mapping file and so on….Assigning the IN and OUT PORTS as well as the device target to the appreciate deck.
IF USING MULTIPLE DECKS…
*NOTE (It is much easier to set up one deck at a time when setting up Traktor to reduce confusion.)
