Before connecting the microphone to the input jack, prepare the channel by turning the volume down and pressing the LINE/MIC switch for MIC mode.

Connect your mic to the input jack using XLR or 1/4" cable.

Once the microphone is connected, ensure Master Volume is turned up to the preferred level then use the LEVEL knob to adjust the volume while speaking into the microphone until the preferred level is reached.
